Nice, Wm. :) I’ll have to try that site out. :)
BTW, your tagline’s very close to the tagline on my upcoming collection BEEHIVE 5: “Peculiar Stories for a Peculiar People.”
I’m not surprised to hear that, Lee. It’s very similar to one we had considered for Monsters & Mormons. And it’s an adjective that shows up in a few of my own sci-fi stories.
What is BEEHIVE 5 going to collect?
“What is BEEHIVE 5 going to collect?”
Sorry. Didn’t mean to hijack the thread.
It’s a MoLit collection of Lee Allred MoLit stuff being published by Rookhouse Books. Five of my stories (hence the five), plus other Lee MoLit stuff: verse, essays on writing MoLit, selected academic papers, etc. Two of the stories are never-before-published non-scifi MoLit pieces.
I’m nearing the home stretch with assembling the contents, writing introductory pages, and formatting the initial InDesign files. Then final layout, proofing, and POD/ebook publishing. Cover is done save for some tweaking. Release date sometime this spring. I hope. Whether that’s late March, April, or a springy August (heh), depends on random rolls of Life’s dice. (Introducing me to Bitstirps today didn’t help! :) )
If AMV is interested, I imagine an advance reader copy (ARC) (very rough cut) could be arranged. Email me.
