Wilum, perhaps I was left feeling confused about things other than my queerness. =p

Alan, honey, I don't remember that you were left feeling confused. You seemed very certain that you wanted to be queer, you enjoyed being queer, and yet you suggested perhaps there was a future for you in the church. I came away with the feeling that you were open to whatever life would throw at you. It's fascinating to see how you remember the meeting, so utterly different from my own experience or memory of it. I hope I left you knowing that I love being queer and have no intention of being otherwise, celibate though I be.

Awww... "inactive queer LDS lads." I'm one of those. A few years ago, after I talked to a couple missionaries about many things queer and my concerns with the faith, leaving them totally aghast, they surprised me by bringing Mr. Pugmire the following week. I found myself by the end of the meeting leading a prayer about how "confused" I am. =D Talk about the power of persuasion. Since the meeting, I have learned much more about myself, about Mormonism, about "gayness"...I believe myself to be a more humble person, involved peripherally in the LDS community, perhaps in ways some would consider "evil" or "misguided," but well, we live a divided world.

Th.

Have you finished? Or have you gotten to the Lamanite prince Aaron's initiation yet? The Vision Serpent

I spelled it Kuhtuli, also look at the gods description. I wanted to walk the line of insiders would know exactly who I was talking about, but not get lambasted by others.

"I got on my knees and I prayed, and I had an answer from God that traumatized my soul. To deny that experience would make me a gutless hypocrite."
.
My path away from obedience was different, but the path back was the same and I feel the same about it: I cannot deny my answer and, in my case, the change in my nature.

I'll have to grab that Wilum.

As it is I still sensed that mormon uprbring in Serenade of Starlight between a couple of passages.

And I meant to write Pearl of Great Price heathen gods not D&C. Korash, Elkanah, Mahmackrah, Libnah-I figured they are old ones along with Cthulu.

Ok, I would have thought Sandy Petersen belonged in this interview, but after reading it, perhaps it does have the right title.
