Okay, back from class. Here is an article from a Denver alternative weekly about a Mormon Paul Mallamo (who I am 99% sure is PD Mallamo) and his family, and their very difficult experience with an adoption.

Mahonri, I will write up a theater review over spring break next week. I will run it by you first, since you were there for almost all of this stuff, and I was there for none of it. I will try to get to film, too, if I get the chance. Who else do you think I should send it to for fact-checking and filling in places I will miss?

Well that would be good because until about a week ago I had been telling people he was Mormon. It will be nice to learn I'm not a liar. Except for, you know, today.

Eric,
I think you are wrong, but I am not sure. I have to run and teach a class, I will come back and post when I get a chance.

Okay, I saw that interview you reference too, but in it he says, "At seventeen I matriculated Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. I was not Mormon. In cultural terms it was a lot like going to school overseas and having to learn a new language, and as such was one of the great experiences of my life."

He says he "was not" Mormon, but does not say if he joined the Church. He went on after BYU to write a few articles for Sunstone, in which he implied he was a member. And a Google search shows up several postings at Times and Seasons where he says things like "us Mormons", implying he sees himself as part of the community. Paul himself has posted here on AMV in the past, I hope he clears this up.

This "concludes" the review? What about film and drama? You've usually done reviews on those in the past as well.
