Whoa, sweet! I’m a little sad to hear Allred’s books got so few readers, in spite of so much (relative, at least) publicity at the time of their release. I’m in the initial stages of a Mormon comic epic as we speak, and a couple other comic projects in the works. New to the form, been doing lots of reading and exploring. Gonna have to check some of these out.

Just by chance I found all these great comments (I typed in “MORMON CARTOONIST”…my business name is:”THE CARTOONIST GUY”).

Just so you, besides drawing for the FRIEND and THE NEW ERA magazines, I also had a nationally syndicated comic strip called:”GOBLIN” from 1986-87.
(it was overwhelmingly hated and cancelled after 18 months).
